We deserve some common sense on our City Council, don't we? My top priority will be to bring that common sense to our city government. Count on it.

For 20 years I served as Davis Postmaster and as a community volunteer. I am a Davis Volunteer Firefighter. I've been selected as Davis Citizen of the Year, Davis Volunteer Firefighter of the Year, and Rotarian of the Year. I understand the needs of our town.

Growth Management. Count on me to chart a path of slow, controlled growth that meets our needs without changing our small town character.

Public Safety. If we don't fully fund our police and fire services, we won't maintain Davis as the safe, quiet university town we love. Count on me to support public safety.

Improve UCD Relationships. Currently, City-UCD relations are strained, at best. Count on me to make sure UCD and the City work in harmony.

Business Community Relations. Business is not our enemy. Count on me to tear down roadblocks our city council and planning commission have placed before our retail business community. Davis faces financial shortfalls. It makes sense to expand our retail tax base.

Let's work together for Davis. It's about time.
